Spontaneous Transformation Technique:
Spontaneous Transformation Technique is a practice used “in the moment” to change belief systems holding you back, by creating new neural pathways to unravelling the beliefs we created about ourselves as children, in response to trauma. Research tells us that we tend to operate from that 95% of us that is unconscious conditioning; that is our thoughts, beliefs and patterns that developed our neurobiological pathways in response to traumatic experiences in the early years of childhood that we created to keep us safe; however as adults they limit our potential. To the ego mind, same equals safe, and this means keeping our thoughts, beliefs and patterns the same to avoid change.

These beliefs can include not feeling valued, feeling unworthy, not good enough, not smart enough, abandoned, rejected and so on. Many of these experiences may have seemed to be forgotten as adults, however the beliefs that were formed can continue to affect us our entire life until we shed light on these patterns, which allows a shift to occur and the formation of new neural pathways that nourish and nurture us. Our thoughts, feelings and actions are like three legs of the tripod, and therefore we need to shift the limiting beliefs about ourselves in order to shift our feelings and our subsequent experiences.

I remember as a nine year old, my teacher sent back to a class of seven year olds for two weeks, after I was unable to answer a question in class. I had completely forgotten this experience consciously, however at the time I had formed a belief that I was not as good as others and this stayed with me for many years and continued to create my reality, which provided the “proof and evidence” that I was not as good as others. This is an example of a looping pattern that can form.

Spontaneous Transformation Technique was created by Jennifer Mclean in response to her life experiences that offered a unique perspective on her path to healing. This technique offers a resilience strategy that bypasses the mind so it feels, safe, gentle and easy to access the point of trauma so as to hold space to unravel the old belief, and experience the new way of seeing ourselves and our world.
